"Bought this to replace a different duffle bag I had been using. Have yet to use it for a trip, but it seems to exceed my expectations and what I need it for. Has a deep enough well for me to bring more than what I need for a week long trip."
"I purchased this travel bag for €99 and regret the decision. Upon arrival, the bag had a strong, musty odor that resembled moisture damage or improper storage. This was not a mild “new product” smell – it was a persistent, unpleasant odor that made the bag effectively unusable. I aired it out for weeks and left it untouched for months, but the smell never disappeared. A product in this price range should not arrive in such condition. Whether caused by moisture exposure, storage issues, or manufacturing problems, the result is the same: the bag is not fit for normal use. What makes the situation worse is the complete lack of accountability from the seller. I contacted them multiple times, formally invoked my statutory consumer rights under EU law, and set a clear deadline for resolution. After one response stating that the matter was “under review,” the company simply stopped replying. More than six weeks passed with total silence. I ultimately withdrew from the contract and requested a refund. Again: no response. Selling a product in this condition is disappointing. Ignoring a formal defect claim and refund request is unacceptable. Based on both product quality and customer service, I cannot recommend this company."
"This is the only tote you need. This amazing bag has so much space, it is perfect for an overnight or long weekend. It is durable and great looking."
"I was very excited to receive this. I ordered it three weeks before a trip. I came a week later but was missing the shoulder strap. I reached out to Herschel and was expecting that they would just have me return it and send a new one. Instead I was told they would be sending a replacement strap and it would be shipped in the next 20 days. That was a week ago and my trip is next weekend and I haven’t revised a shipping notification for the strap so I assume it’s not going to arrive on time. Really disappointed in how this was handled, as I’ll have to purchase a bag somewhere else for the trip and return this once the strap arrives."
"The quality and space of the duffle is amazing. I recently went on a short vacation and had no issues with it. It was quite comfortable. I definitely will promote it on my YT and IG channel foe travelling :)"
"Polecam!!!"
"I ordered the heritage duffle bag on the 27th of November and still haven’t received my order. I’ve contacted customer service who said they would check with the GLS warehouse, this was on the 10th of December I have not received any update. I ordered from Hershel’s as I was told the quality of the bags were excellent and thought it would be a lovely gift but I can’t comment on the product as I don’t have it. Very disappointed as the bags are quite expensive and the customer service has been very poor."
"I bought the bag in the ivy green colourway and it looks great in person. The flap at the top opening outwards as opposed to having a zip and needing to pull apart the sides to get in clothes, is really useful. The bag has a great capacity, enough space for a 3 day trip. Knocked off 1 star because it would be perfect if it had the soft shoulder/ hand pads on the long/ short strap and maybe some extra pockets. These seem like relatively easy things to add to the design so it's odd they weren't included - but - it didn't stop me buying / using the bag"
"Good product, although it took some time for its release and the tracking afterwards through Herschel site was not good."
"Perfect size as a gym bag. Can put gym shoes, towls, and everything else in with ease. Great quality and good color."
