"For years now, I have used the Herschel Supply Mid-Nova 18L Volume Backpack as my everyday handbag. I prefer this backpack over a traditional handbag because it fits what I need inside, reliable, strong and has been thru all kinds of weather. I own the black and the orange (for the spring summer) and I have other color patterns I purchased here on Herschel. It has great pockets (love the two side pockets) and the interior lining. I am not digging thru a black hole. This bag is AFFORDABLE and you do not need to take out a second mortgage or go in credit card debt to purchase one."

"Nova series is the best backpack I've owned! When I was single, I had the Nova Mini's. Now that I'm a mommy. . I have been using the Nova 18L for my ONE bag which has my stuff and - my baby's stuff. . . (i. e. "diaper bag"). I don't have a purse when I'm out with the baby because I'm a light mover! It's the perfect bag for someone like me who is utiliatrian and functional and wants the lightest weight possible. Why is this bag great? - it's super light - It keeps its shape when empty or semi-full = it doesn't tip over when you put it down, it free stands - It has just the right amount of pockets and compartments. . . you can find everything on the fly and it is designed just so increbily thougtfully,. . - it has the double handles on top so you oftentimes open the zipper and while holding the one handle open can get to everything in your bag. the handles come in handy when wanting to hang it (like from the stroller) and in general are super handy -It's big enought to carry a lot of things, but it's at the same time NOT BULKY -It's super durable, I've been using it for 1 full year with my baby and it looks like new from the store! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS BAG! The only 'negative' is it fits my tablet, but not my PC (15. 6) in the dedicated tech sleeve"

Quality bag
"Bought the mini. Love the quality. The material is thick and easy to wipe clean. It withstands a fair amount of water whilst waiting in the rain for the bus. Many reviewers state that the zipper is poor quality. I disagree. It is heavy duty without the silicone coating on the teeth which means it'll last a long time. It's not possible to open/close the zip with one hand but I prefer the quality to the ease. I love the warranty for a life-time, too!"
